Who We Are - What We Do

......Continued

In three different mission trips to Liberia, W. A., in six years we have shown the movie “The Passion of The Christ” 263 times in 263 different area locations to over 700,000 people.  All seeing how much Jesus suffered for all mankind that we might have forgiveness of our sins and eternal life.  We have witnessed 97,658 adults and children Salvations of which 50,872 adults names, ages and dates are written in three different blue books, all came forward with their arms stretched toward the Heavens, repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus. We have blessed over 425,000 poor people with Bibles, toys and used clothing. Today we have over 1315 churches and church pastors shepherding the New Salvations in Liberia.

Only by the blessings and grace of God, His leadership and guidance was our visions accomplished.
I Thank The Almighty God and give Him all the praise and glory.
Again, thank you and God bless you all.

for me, the ministry and all the new Salvations in Liberia.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Jesus our Savior;

I would like to personally thank the 1,000’s in the different churches for your love for Jesus, your prayers and continued financial support for the Holy Cross Movie Ministry.  It’s so sad that many reading this report did not have the opportunity to get involved and did not receive the many blessings of saving lost souls in West Africa.  The vision God gave me years ago became the vision of 1000's.  The vision that 10,000 plus people would give their lives to Jesus.  The vision came to pass and I give God all the Praise and Glory.
I thank God everyday for the crisis that came into my life on July7,2002, a crisis that awakened me to what is really important in life.  I want to share with you a brief outline of the long and terrible process from which I came and where I am today.
That night that I found out  my beautiful wife, Shara, of fifty years & two months of marriage filed for a divorce.  I loved her so much that I nearly killed myself.  As I sat alone at home with a 44 caliber magnum pistol in my mouth, the phone rang.  Steve asked me “What are you doing?”  When I told him, he said, ”Let me pray with you.”  A while later I put the gun down.  Just prior to and following Steve’s call, the sheriff’s department had called me several times.  They said, “Put the gun down and come outside; I have two deputies that wants to talk to you.”  I put the gun down, went outside, expecting to see two deputies, but there were none around.  Immediately, a S.W.A.T. team met me and ordered me on the ground; shot me three times with pepper bullets; kicked me to the ground; stood on me; wrapped me; threw me into an EMS wagon and took me to the hospital and psychiatric ward.  What a humiliating experience!  A few weeks later, my son Mikel said to me, “Dad, the only thing you can do is to ask Jesus into your life.”  A few months later I rededicated my life 100% to the Lord and was baptized by the Holy Spirit and water.  Seven years later, I know now this was a born again experience which many people never have.
Many, many nights, while hurting and crying and not understanding, I would cry and pray all night.  Several times I remember stopping my car on the side of the road, so much tears in my eyes I couldn't see how to drive, I stretched my arms toward Heavens and asked, “Why me Lord?  Why me Lord?”  The vision kept coming to me that I must go back to Liberia and teach people about Jesus.  A country where my partner and I lost everything.  This certainly was not in my future plans.  Like Moses, I argued with God.  I said to God, “You remember in 1955-56, I failed courses in speech at ENMU. You know I'm not a speaker.  I'm here to tell you. If it Gods plan, He will bring you to your knees and you will obey.  I pray no one will ever have to go through what I did to be awakened as to what is most important in this life.  However, If that is what it takes, so be it.  It is much better to suffer now and know you are going to heaven than to spend eternity in hell.  I spent 69 years of my life worshiping the almighty dollar.  I was on the direct road to hell and did not realize it.  I thank Almighty God everyday for all my experiences, good and bad, that brought me to where I am today.  I had so much pride in my life.  I was a disgrace to God, the Church, my family and friends, if I had any.  During those sleepless nights of praying and crying, the Holy Cross Movie Ministry came to me.  Remember the old saying, “One picture is better than a 1,000 words.”  The vision God gave to me has come to pass.
The vision God gave to me years ago became the vision of 1000's.  During the 2005-06 mission trip we shipped one 40 foot ocean container packed with 15,000 Bibles, 200,000 Plan of Salvation tracts, 5,000 toy cars, 5,000 toy dolls, 350 large plastic bags of good used clothing and shoes, two 1989 model vehicles, spare parts and many other items.
During the nine months I was there, the movie,” The Passion of the Christ”, was shown 59 times in 59 different locations in Liberia.  Over 175,000 people came to view the portrayal of the terrible beating and crucifixion of Jesus.  All walked to come, at night, in heat and rain, either stood or sat on the ground to watch the movie.  The movie will leave an everlasting impression in the minds and souls of all those who came to see.  There were 11,022 adults, 13 years and up, and 9,020 little children ages 4 to12 who gave their hearts and lives to Jesus and were added to the Kingdom of God.  TO GOD BE THE GLORY  THANK YOU JESUS.  This mission trip could not have been accomplished without God’s leadership, the prayers and support of 1000's.  I give God and our Lord Jesus all the Praise and Glory.  Amen
After coming home in 2006, I thought my missionary life was over; but same as before, it kept coming to me that we must go back to Africa to teach the people about Jesus and save more lost souls,  The vision that I had was that 20,000 souls would be saved in 2007-2008.  We shipped two 40 foot ocean shipping containers containing 25,000 Bibles, 400,000 Plan of Salvation tracts, 2,000 Bible Story color books and crayons, 15,000 toy cars, 11,000 toy dolls, 900 large plastic bags of used clothing, two more 1991 model vehicles, misc. spare parts and many other items.  Like before, the vision God gave to me became the vision of 1000's and our supporting churches grew from five to twenty-two.
The movie was shown 79 times in 79 different locations to more than 300,000 people.  I witnessed 19,157 adults and 14,654 little children come forward with their arms streached the Heavens, repeat the Sinners Prayer and give their lives to Jesus.  PRAISE GOD.  THANK YOU JESUS.  Amen.
During the last two mission trips to Liberia, we have shown the movie, “The Passion of the Christ,” 138 times and have penetrated the hearts, minds and souls to over 475,000 people, including many Muslims, showing how much Jesus suffered and died for the forgiveness of our sins, their sins and the sins of the world.  Please continually pray for the 30,175 adults and 23,670 little children, the new Salvations, presently struggling in Liberia.  THANK YOU JESUS.
As we look to the future, we look forward to winning more lost souls for God’s Kingdom and I look forward to your prayers for me, the ministry and your financial support. According to 2007-08 the financing needed is apprrox. $185,000.00 before August 2009 when we return back Liberia. We are presently collecting good used clothing, shoes and raising money for the 2009-10 mission trip.  A detailed list of what we need will be given to your Church as soon as posible.  I know this is a lot of money, and I’ve ask myself many times ”How much is one soul worth?”  During our 2007-08 mission, the 19,157 adult salvations cost us $9.13 each.  I had a joyful thought.  What if one person gave all, then the sad thought came to me that the 1000’s of you, the supporters would loose the opportunity to give and miss the blessings of God.  I want all the people that know and those who don’t know about this ministry to be a part, whether it’s praying, giving used clothing to the poor, giving small money, or large money. Just be a part.
What’s good about this ministry is that all of the new Salvations and Rededications names are written in The Lamb’s Book of Life, and also written in two books that we have in America that we display in the churchs reminding us to continue to pray for all these new Salvations.  Each night we rewrite the names of the new Christians and Rededications.  The next day the original list is given back to the 5 to 10 local church pastors of that area, who have agreed to a continual pastoral follow up.  To date over 700 Liberian Church Pastors are shepherding the New Christians in the 138 different area locations where we have shown the movie.
This ministry is not about me.  I’m a sinner saved by the Grace of God, trying  to do His will the best I understand.  When I look back and see how terrible I once was, I don’t understand at all but I do know this ministry is of God and His leadership.
100% of all donations goes to the ministry.  I personally receive no financial support and don’t want any.  I feel any money I could receive would take away from the blessings God has in store for me.  My mission is to give now and receive later when I go on home to be with my Father in Heaven.    Once again, I want to thank each of you for considering this great proven opportunity and being obedient to the word of God.  We pray each of our efforets will continue to multiply. We will not know how great the harvest will be untill we get to Heaven.
Just one small toy or piece of used clothing can make these people so happy.  If it wasn’t for the Grace of God, we might have been in their situation.  They just don’t know what they have done without all their lives: no electricity, no running water, no T.V., no clothing, no shoes, no underwear, no toys, no jobs, no welfare, no government assistance, and no hope.  I thank God everyday for the crisis in my life 7 years ago that turned me around to where I am today.  I give our Almighty God and the Lord Jesus all the Praise and Glory.
It’s now time to raise money, which is the hardest part for me.  Maybe I have too much pride, but far from what I once had.  Believe me, if I had the money myself, I would not ask for one cent.  Although, If this was the case, what would your blessing be?  It’s all about showing love and giving hope to the poor, to those that have nothing and will never have anything, except Jesus.  Our objective is to teach people about Jesus and save their souls.  We get so excited when two or three people come forward and give their lives to Jesus here in America.  I would love for you to be a part of saving over 20,000 souls over a 9 month period in Liberia in 2009-2010.  With the blessing of God, the prayers and financial support of my brothers and sisters in Christ, it happened before and it will happen again.  THANK YOU JESUS.  I pray each one of you will go to God in prayer and ask Him how you can be a part of this ministry.
We have the opportunity to bless thousands through our giving of Bibles, used clothing, and toys, etc.  More important, teaching them about Jesus and saving their souls.  Phase #1 is to raise money for New Testaments and Plan of Salvation tracts.  As you already know, we give Bibles to new Christians and Rededications to Jesus.  $7.50 will buy 10 Bibles, $75.00 will buy 100 Bibles.  The Plan of Salvation tracts, we give to all those that come to see the movie.  Also, we give tracts to all those up and down the road as we travel, and to the churches that invite us to show the movie in their area.
Please make your donations  to your church or to the Holy Cross Movie Ministry, earmarked with what it is for.  Please don’t make checks out to me personally.  Thank you all so very much, and I pray God will bless each of you and your family.

A Brother in Jesus our Savior,
William dub Hays
