Mission Trip November 24, 2010:

November 24, 2010, It sure is hot here, I met with the Commissioner of Finance and the Commissioner of Customs today. The 7.5% up to 25% duties they were asking was ridicules, I pray after the meetings their so-called duty free will be reduced to 2.5%.
Today one more obstacle, the US sent out a memo to all African countries to double check all vehicles titles coming from the US, supposedly for stolen and shipped to Africa. Your guess is as good as mine what the next obstacle the devil and his angles will through in our path. The ministry pastors have schedules to start the 30th of November, as of today I can’t see how this can happen.  Please continue to pray for me, the ministry
that I can stand strong against the devils roadblocks.  Thanks and God bless you all.

November 26, 2010, Everything is going according to the devils schedule, one of the vehicles that I thought was repaired is giving us problems. I think the fuel injectors or bad. It’s not easy here; it’s all upside down, the new Ministry of Finance law is, no matter what a vehicle cost us in the US, here they re-appraise it according to US Blue Book selling price and we pay tax accordingly. Today is Friday, my Import Broker has spent 2
weeks working with the two ministries trying and begging to get the taxes reduced with very little visible results so far. My problem now is when container stays in port past 10 days, the storage fee is $100.00 per, day per container. One day I will write a book named
“The real devil and his tricks”

November 27, 2010, Today is the 58th day since the containers were shipped, they are still in the port, tomorrow is Saturday-closed; Monday is a Holiday so nothing can happen until Tuesday.
All of the hell, all kinds of problems from the devil and disappointments we are facing today, as much as it disappointments and upsets us, it is only a speck in the eye of eternity, this is why I continue, this is why we must do all possible to do all possible for our Savior, no matter how tough it gets, and I, we must continue to understand, there is nothing is too tough for God. Salvation and working for Jesus is not a matter or decision to take lightly or to play with. I keep telling myself, I must have patience and turn it all over to God.  But really I am sick and tired fighting the devil continuously. Someone may say;  “ I don’t have all these devil problems” I did’t either the first 70 years of my life because I was not a threat to his empire, I was a part of his system and empire. he was happy and overjoyed with me. I pray one day soon I can write you something good and make you feel good instead of the previous disappointing updates, Job regardless of his situation continued to stand strong for God to the end, It could get worse, I love you all, I pray

God will bless you all, your Families and our Church Families

Mission Trip 2010 - 2011: Update #2

November 30, 2010, Tuesday, Unfortunately we are still on the devils schedule, he doesn’t realize it yet but we will win.  I Finally located one injection nozzle for one of the vehicle, installed, and then we found that we need two more so I sent Joe the driver and the mechanic to find.  As they were coming back the clutch went out on the only vehicle we have running, when I called to find out why it taking so long, they advised me they were installing the new parts. Waited all day for the Import Broker, no good news, we have an appointment Wednesday at 10:30 AM with deputy Commissioner of Finance. I pray something good will come from the meeting. A lot of Pastors that I know are having meetings, praying binding the devil from the ministry.  I know God and we will prevail.  I also know the devil is sure giving the ministry and me a hard time.

Brothers and Sisters, all of you who believe and have faith and who continue to pray and give to the ministry. God will bless you, from the bottom of my heart I say thank you. Those of you who don’t, your are missing an opportunity of a lifetime. The ministry will prevail, 10’s of 1000’s of souls will be saved. We never knew why God allowed the devil to torture Job, but he did overcome and we will too. Thank You Lord
Jesus.

December 1, 2010. After meeting with the Deputy Commissioner of Finance, we were blessed; the $13,000.00 of duties was reduced to $4,152.00.  Thank You Jesus.
Now apart of our financial problem is solved, the following numbered items are yet to be solved.

The BIVAC and Customs inspectors are demanding $600.00 for a pass or otherwise we have to unload everything in the port for inspection and take a chance of 20% being stolen. This will take a minimum of 4 days to unload and reload plus the fact our 10 days of free storage in port is past, now we have to pay $100.00 per day, per container.  So paying the bribe is the only way out.

Now we need four trucks and trailers to haul containers from port to compound.  I have managed to get this cost down to $2,200.00 USD

Now the Port Authority charges $200.00 per container to load containers on trailer, this amount is $800.00 USD

Now I have to hire a fork lift to lift the empty containers off the trailer, since they have to drive the forklift 15 miles each way from Port to compound. I have made arraignments to pay $400.00USD

Now we have to pay three or four inspectors to watch us unload as they record all items, as it’s unloaded. I’m estimating $300.00

So far at the least, the amount comes to a total of $8,400.00 USD plus unforeseen expenses. All of these expenses started much higher, but after begging, crying and pressing them down, I agreed to this amount.

I went to the bank to day and borrowed $5,000.00 USD, needed more but this is all I could get.

When I look back and see how the Lord has allowed the devil to torture me and the ministry, I don’t understand but theirs a lot about the last 6 years I don’t understand.  When I see how much Job, Paul, John, the decuples and many others suffer and sacrificed.  What makes this ministry any different?  According to these men’s lives, if we are truly living and sacrificing for Jesus, your going to have plenty of problems from the devil and his angles, even death.

When I talked to Jerry today, the Secretary of the ministry. She advises me their has been no donations come in the last 30 days. I pray the devil hasn’t turned you against me too. Many, many of you must never take what I say the wrong way. Many of you have given and sacrificed for Jesus, you know who you are.

December 2, 2010, I Finished paying the $8,000.00 this morning, I must find $1,000.00 more dollars by tomorrow when the containers come to compound.  I pray God will provide, like I told you many times, after going through all of this from two years ago until today, once the containers are unloaded into the compound, then, now the mission can start. Of all of us writing and reading this update, I’m probably the only one crazy enough to suffer through all this, but I know one thing; the only way the devil will stop me is kill me.

Now we are looking at an expense of approximately $200.00 per day for 200 days. $42,000.00.  Only God knows where the money needed will come from.  I have already started making arraignments to sell one vehicle and to sell the four containers, if these sell, this will give us $16-17,000.00 USD of the money needed. Many reading this shake their heads; the difference is I know what the end picture will be after we pass through all the devils obstacles. I know if God allows the devil to let me live, I will see a minimum of 20,000 adults and 15,000 little children come forward, repeat the sinner’s prayer and give their lives to Jesus.  If I didn’t have faith and believe I would have quite this stressful mission long time ago. I would love to have an 8-hour day job or a retirement plan to rely on, nights and weekends off. But my God gave me this Cross to bear, Gods vision and my vision has not changed and won’t change unless Gods plan is to take me out which is even better yet, It’s a win win situation for me.

For many of you who support many different kinds of Ministries, I invite you to look at this ministries track record, we do not drill water wells, feed the poor, build church’s constructionly, memberships Yes, and many other good things. I feel if we don’t teach people about Jesus and save their souls, they will all die and go to hell.  all of this being said, It all cost money, Gods money he has blessed us with.
December 3, 2010, Friday, we were unable to get containers from port for some reason, which I don’t understand, maybe tomorrow; I believe it when I see it.
I love you all. God Bless you, your family and your Church’s.

A Brother in Jesus our Lord,

 William dubs Hays

Mission Trip December 3, 2010: Update #3

December 3, 2010, Friday evening, the import broker says we will get the containers out of the port tomorrow Saturday, I can’t see how this is possible, maybe one or two but not four.
I found out today the computer in one of our last year’s vehicle is bad; this is my fuel injection problem.  I shipped three good used ones in the containers coming; hopefully one part number will work. We removed the gas tank, cleaned the sludge from tank, lines and installed new filter.  After testing the injection nozzles I learn the computer is the brain telling the nozzles what to do.

December 6, 2010, Monday evening, we had our regular one hour devotion this morning at 7:00, the import broker called me, the update is the containers are supposed to come out today however the very large crane that loads the heavy containers on to the truck trailers is broke down.  I went to the port to verify and found that the large crane was not broke down. No containers today, maybe tomorrow.

December 7, 2010, Wednesday, the containers have been in the port 23 days tomorrow, we hauled the containers to Houston September 23, 76 days later; hopefully we will get them from port soon.

December 8, 2010,Wednesday, another very tough day, I stayed at the port all day, I thank God the containers were released from port at 5:00 pm. Two hours later approximately 45 people were unloading the containers, 12:30 am, the unloading was complete.

# 1 Movie,  Practice show in Compound
December 9, this very minute as I write, the pastors and crew are showing the movie, testing the equipment in the compound.  It was a good thing we did; we find 50% of our amplifier is not working.  I managed to borrow $390.00 from a friend to continue.
This will pay for gasoline and repairs. I thank God the direction of this ministry has turned positive.  Many local people came into the compound as we were showing the movie, we managed to have one altar call before the rain fell, 57 adults, 41 little girls and boys came forward, repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus.  Pastor Saah one of the pastors that schedules our in town show locations has scheduled us to show tomorrow night, I can’t see how this is possible.
December 10, Friday, worked on amplifier all day, pastor Freeman our head pastor, a repair man himself replaced $107.00 of parts that were burnt out because one of the small fans that cools the amplifier was inoperative so we had to cancel all shows until Monday night. I must stop and go to bed. God bless you all.

# 2  Movie, Zinna Town, Dakah Community.
December 13, 2010, Monday night, 1:30 am.  Today was a great day, the turnout was less
Than expected, no rain, no equipment problems, approximately 1500 people come to see movie, 1st altar call 137 new Salvations, 2nd Altar call, 22 Re-Dedications, 3rd for little children 4 years to 12 years old, 79 little girls, 81 little boys, all repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus. Two shows completed, only 98 more to go.

# 3 Movie, Lower Morris Farm.
December 14, 2010, Tuesday night, 2:30 am. Today was another great day, 1500 plus people come to see movie, 135 New Salvations, 57 Re-Dedications, 70 little girls, 92 little boys gave their lives to Jesus.  Unfortunately two of the four speakers blew out, tomorrow we will buy one more and rebuilt one.  We thank God and praise You Almighty.
#  4 Movie, Duazon Town

December 15, 2010, Wednesday night 2:30 am. I just completed the writing and transferred all the names. Tonight was another great day, the crowd was less than we thought, 1800 plus people come to see the movie, 139 New Salvations, 94 Re-Dedidications, 67 little girls, 64 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. We were forced to spend approximately $ 600.00 today on movie equipment and vehicle spare parts. Some of you know me well enough to know, it’s hard for me to spend money we don’t have.  With God caring the load, we all know the end picture. Thank You Almighty God. Amen

#  5 Movie, Duport Road, Baptist Community.
December 16, 2010, Thursday night, 2:30 am. Names have been rewritten, a very good evening, 3000 plus people come to see the movie. We were blessed, no rain, no equipment problems, 314 New Salvations, 52 Re-Dedications, 114 little girls, 144 little boys came forward repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus.

# 6 Movie, Soul Clinic Area
December 17, 2010, Friday night, 3:30 am. I just finished writing the names, the crowd was great, 4000 plus people come to see the movie. Fewer Salvations than expected, 287 New Salvations, 39 Re-Dedications, 134 little girls, 160 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Jesus for sacrificing Your life for me and all reading this update.
I realize this update is late however I did send two updates to Jerry the secretary, they were so disappointing and discouraging that I just couldn’t put all these ministries problems on you.  So now I’m proud to send you this positive update to you. Thanks be to Jesus our Lord. Amen. The good news is, in six days 1329 adults and 1004 little children have been saved.
God Bless You and Your Families.

A brother in Jesus our Lord;

Mission Trip 2010 - 2011: Update #4

December 19, 2010, Sunday, today was a long hard day; Joe and I drove 80 miles one way into the jungle. I took the new book to Joe Dahn our scribe to start writing names for 2010 and 2011. We left at 4:00 am, arrived back to compound 20 ½ hours later. I had to do this on Sunday because tomorrow Monday we show Movie # 7.

Movie #7, December 20, 2010, Capital Bypass Area.
Monday night, 12:01 am, the movie tonight was in a very poor location, 1400 plus people came to see, 94 New Salvations, 21 Re-dedications, 32 little girls, 51 little boys gave their lives to Jesus. Everyone is excited that Jerry and Marilyn will be here Wednesday night the 22nd December.

Movie # 8, December 21, 2010, Barkley Mission Foot Ball Field.
Tuesday night, The turnout was great, I believe of all the previous 149 times we have shown the movie, tonight was the best organized of all, a fantastic evening. No problems at all, 194 New Salvations, 41 Re-dedications, 132 little girls, 155 little boys gave their lives to Jesus.

Movie # 9, December 22, 2010, Gardnersville Chicken Soup Factory;
Wednesday night, 2:30 am. I helped set up earlier today, hurried to the airport to pick up Jerry and Marilyn. The plane was two hours late. When I arrived back to compound, I found out that our amplifier and two 500-watt speakers burnt out. Evidently the 220-volt and 110 voltage was switched. We have two more nights scheduled this week. Tomorrow will be a very hectic and costly day. The pastors managed to borrow an amplifier from one of the local church’s to continue the movie, 138 New Salvations, 34 Re-dedications, 64 little girls and 72 little boys came forward, repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Almighty God, Amen, Tonight, like last night, seven different small church’s invited the ministry, these 14 churches in two nights will divide up the adult Salvations and Sheppard them.

Movie # 10, December 23, 2010, Airfield Farmah Community;
Thursday night, 1:30 am. Tonight was disappointing, attendance was very low, 1000 plus people came, 120 New Salvations, 21 Re-dedications, 49 little girls and 43 little boys.
The ministry has been blessed, when we found our heavy duty projector was inoperative, we were able to find and purchase another, blessed because the ministry has highly qualified pastors to narrate the movie, give understandable altar calls and repair equipment, blessed because we have highly devoted workers to drive, some that know camera, cook, security, all know how to set up and take down, blessed because we have standby emergency vehicles, blessed because we have had no rain, blessed because of your prayers, love and trust, blessed because of your sacrificial giving, blessed most of all because of our Saviors love and guidance. Thank You Almighty God. Amen.

Movie # 11, December 24, 2010, Caldwell Coffee Farm;
Friday night, Christmas Eve. We made another mistake, It’s to close to Christmas, people have to much to do, the attendance was low, 700 plus came to see the movie. However we learned another lesson. 46 adult Salvations, 4 Re-dedications, 12 little girls and 34 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus.

Finally the total expenses in the last two months here in Liberia, clearing from port and other expenses exceeds $14,000.00 US Dollars and we still have to register the vehicles.  I had to sell one of the vehicles to raise money to continue. I have asked this question many times;  HOW MUCH IS ONE SOUL WORTH?

The good part is; with God leading the way, we have managed to show the movie 11 times, witnessed over 2,000 adults and 1,500 little children give their lives to Jesus.

Most people don’t know our distributing procedure. At night right after the altar calls we write the names of the new adults Salvations and Re-dedications who come forward, when I get back to my room that night I rewrite the names so we can give the original list back to the pastors the next day along with a New Testament and a Wal-Mart plastic bag of 1-3 pieces of used clothing for each Salvation. At this time the five to ten pastors divide the Salvations and start shepparding the people. At children’s altar call, four to twelve years old, they with their arms toward the Heavens repeat the sinner’s prayer and give their lives to Jesus then we give a ticket to be exchanged the next day for a toy. This mission trip we have 25,000 New Testaments, 1,000 Old and New Testaments plus 100’s of used ones. We have over 20,000 new toys and thousands of used toys for the children Salvations. 6,000 Bible Story color books to give to the hundreds of small schools, over 6,000 larger stuffed animals, the larger ones we give to the inviting pastors wives. We have over 165,000 pieces of used clothing to be given and over 175,000 plan of Salvation Tracts to give as we travel and at the movie. This ministry is all about teaching people how much Jesus suffered for each of us that we might have forgiveness of our sins and eternal life. We don’t just hand out items to anyone, only those who sincerely give their lives to Jesus. We are not here as a relief organization to give to anyone.

Movie # 12, December 27, 2010, Benson Clinic Community.
The attendance was 1500 plus people, no serious problems, very good evening. 136 New Salvations, 27 Re-dedications, 79 little girls and 84 little boys came forward tonight.

Movie # 13, December 28, 2010, S K Doe Complex.
Another good evening, 1500 plus people came to see the movie, 109 New Salvations, 51 Re-dedications, 64 little girls and 79 little boys gave their lives to Jesus. One more night to show in 2010, Movie # 14 will be our 152nd time to show the movie, never in the same area.

Movie # 14, December 29, 2010, Tinkers Village Old Field.
To show in the City of Monrovia, tonight was a very good evening, 2000 plus people came to see, 102 New Salvations, 12 Re-dedications, 53 little girls and 50 little boys,
With there arms toward the Heavens, they repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Lord Jesus.

2010 was a very tough and stressful year; I thank God every day for His blessings. To date we have witnessed 2474 adults and 2057 little children come Jesus.  This mission trip has cost so much but we must continue and finish the race, we can’t turn back now, only six to eight months left. I pray most of our major expenses are behind us.

Our crew, Jerry, Marilyn and I will leave to go into the interior Monday, we have 10 stops to show the movie within the next 14 days before our guest, and Jerry and Marilyn go back to the States. We are preparing for 3000 adult Salvations, this means we will take with us 3 vehicles and two trailers, 3000 Walmart plastic bags of used clothing= 7000 to 9000 pieces, 3000 New Testaments, 120 New and Old Testaments, 2500 small toys, 60 packs of 3 underwear, 60 large stuffed animals for pastors wives, 20-6 gallon plastic containers of gasoline, eight people and our food supplies, this single trip has already cost us $1500.00, could reach $2500.00. Please pray for the ministry.  I love you all, God bless you and your families.

A Brother in Jesus our Lord.

Mission Trip 2010 - 2011: Update #5

January 16, 2011 Mission Update;

Movie # 15, January 3, 2011- Gbonota Private School Field.
Monday, we drove 8 hours, 105 miles of which 35 miles was a jungle road.  It took much longer than planned, this is Africa, I should be used to it by now. We didn’t get set up to show until 9:30 pm, this was a very cold evening for these people, for we Americans, the temperature was just right. 1500 plus people were waiting for us to arrive and show, 91 New Salvations, 0 Re-dedications, 26 little girls and 54 little boys gave their lives to Jesus. I was through re-writing the names by 2:30 am. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 16, January 4, 2011- Gbarnga Rock Mountain Foot Ball Field.
Tuesday, this was a very good evening, we drove five hours, arrived Gbarnga at 3:30 pm, the number of people who come was great, 3000 plus, 234 New Salvations, 59 Re-dedications, 122 little girls and 130 little boys gave their lives to Jesus.

Movie # 17, January 5, 2011 – Bonadin Town Foot Ball Field, Nimba County
Wednesday, we drove approximately 50 miles, six hours, the three vehicles and we experienced some very terrible roads. Tonight started slow, people coming late after working on their farms all day, a few came from their palm wine farms drunk, however by 8:00 pm, their were over 1500 people who come to see the movie. 76 New Salvations, 33 Re-dedications, 54 little girls and 74 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus, surprisingly it turned out to be a great evening. Thank You Jesus.

Movie # 18, January 6, 2011 – Bunadin Town Foot Ball Field, Nimba County.
Thursday, we experienced a very unusual evening, everything looked the same on the outside but inside the minds of these natives was different, witchcraft and devil worshiping is their god. Over 2500 people come to watch the movie.  The 1st altar call, there were only 49 New Salvations, I knew there was something wrong because 149 little girls and 153 little boys came forward.  We continually prayed binding the devil from this location.  Sure enough during the 2nd altar call for people to Re-dedicate their lives to Jesus, 163 people came forward, I found out later that the chief Zoë or devil came forward and gave his life to Jesus, then all who were afraid of this devil and what might happen to them came forward.  Thank You Lord Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 19, January 7, 2011 – Blowee Town Foot Ball Field, Nimba County.
Friday, another good evening, only one speaker blew out tonight, 1500 plus people came to see the movie, most came late from their farms.  There were 73 New Salvations, 48 Re-dedications, 65 little girls and 102 little boys came forward.  Pastor Lougon an area pastor who translated in Mono dialect for pastor Freeman gave me a summary of impact of our one-week experience written by pastor Lougon that Mrs. Jerry will bring back to you in a few days, this is a very interesting summary.   Thank You Jesus for Your Blessings, Amen.

Movie # 20, January 8, 2011 – Zahn Belah Town, Nimba County.
Saturday, the hospitality was great in this town, the town chief furnished us a place to sleep, there is five small towns surrounding Zahn Belah. The attendance was good, 1500 plus people came to see the movie.  The pastor and I were disappointed in the number that came forward, according to what my pastor says, this town is demon possessed also. However we witnessed 41 New Salvations, 12 Re-dedications, 83 little girls and 144 little boys give their lives to Jesus.  Tomorrow Sunday we will travel all day to set up.

Movie # 21, January 9, 2011 – Flumpa Town, Nimba County.
Sunday, this time we were meet by a welcoming committee, 10 – 12 women singing and dancing, very impressive.  We set up and showed the movie approximately 200 feet from our home for the night that the local pastors arraigned for us, a place to sleep. So far none of us have slept in a bed, only a thin piece of foam, sometimes nothing. Jerry and Marilyn are still going strong; they will be going back to the US in seven days.  Tonight 2500 plus people came to see the movie, 137 New Salvations, 28 Re-dedications, 181 little girls and 222 little boys repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus.  The last four Towns have given many fruits and vegetables, whole stalks of bananas, stalks of plantains, oranges, potatoes, pumpkins, alvacados, pineapple, we are sure tired eating bananas and pineapple, our punishment for all this is, the heat and humidity is almost unbearable. God bless you all, Thank You Father for all Your Blessings, Amen.

Movie # 22, January 10, 2011 – Bah Brazenly Town.
Monday, another good evening, 2500 plus people came to movie, 145 New Salvations, 10 Re-dedications, 120 little girls and 160 little boys gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Almighty God, Amen.

January 11, 2011
Tuesday, we had to cancel the balance of the schedule due to movie equipment and all three-vehicle problems. Its now 3:00am, Wednesday, January 12, we drove 18 hours straight, 188 miles.  We will spend several days correcting and solving our problems. It’s for sure pastor Marshall and pastor Saah our in Monrovia Town pastors have many show dates set up in and around Monrovia starting Monday night, January 17, 2011.
We found we had to replace five speakers, I don’t know what is causing the problems, some of the problems are the speakers are made to sell not operate properly.  We have managed to repair two vehicles, one we rebuilt the head and valves and replaced the in tank fuel pump, one we replaced the water pump, I thank God we sold two of the containers for $5,400.00 which will carry the ministry a few more weeks,
Jerry and Marilyn will be leaving this evening at 6:00pm back to the US. Thank you and God bless you all, Merry Christmas and happy new year.

Tonight we had seven inviting pastors and 14 ushers to help us during the altar calls, writing the names and controlling the children. After I get back to my room tonight I will rewrite the names. The next morning the original copy book list of names is give back to the pastors for distribution of Bibles to Salvations and ushers, Old and New Testaments, underwear and teddy bears to pastors and wives, all receive a Wal-Mart plastic bag of one to three pieces of used clothing, This is done each morning before we start Trooper speaker publicity in a completely different location to show the movie tonight that has been previously set up by our in Monrovia area pastors. So far we have managed to have the money to continue, when I see zero funds to work with, God always provides, we don’t know where or how, we just continue and believe. Thank You Lord Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 27, January 21, 2011 – Finna Community, Kakata Hwy, across from the  University of Liberia’s new campus, approximately 40 mi from our compound.
Friday, another very good evening, 2500 plus people came to see the movie, 200 New Salvations, 12 Re-dedications, 64 little girls and 98 little boys came forward, repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus. I took two inoperative generators to a Chinese repair shop today; everything is working except our amplifier is getting hot and cutting off, four times tonight. Something has to be done tomorrow to correct this problem. I have been here over four months; I keep thinking tomorrow I will sleep late, maybe Sunday morning before Church. We are suppose to show tomorrow night, Saturday

Movie # 28, January 22, 2011 – Bowen Community, Karate Hwy.
Saturday night, 1:30 am, just completed rewriting the names. Tonight was good, 1500 plus people came to see movie, 125 New Salvations, 31 Re-dedications, 116 little girls and 134 little boys came forward. The evening started slow, was a good thing because the amplifier was fluxuating in power for a while, cleared up and worked perfect the balance of the evening, probably because our prayers was stronger than the devil. We found another small projector to test before we purchase, worked good even though it’s not a commercial heavy-duty type, will cost less than $1000.00 compared to $4000.00 for a Commercial one.

The update for the 28 times we have shown the movie, 84 altar calls, 4753 Adult Salvations, 5053 little girls and boys all stood with their arms toward the Heavens, repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus. We have 168 Church’s and Pastors shepherding the New Salvations. Thank You Almighty God for leading the way, without You we are nothing, have nothing, we are finished, we praise You and Thank You.  Amen.

Mrs. Jerry and Marilyn are back home now with a short 10 minute DVD to give you an idea of what this ministry is all about. We would be glad to show you or your church this short update. Thank you for your love, your prayers and support, Thank you all so much and I pray our God will bless you all and your family. Amen.

Mission Trip 2010 - 2011: Update #7

January 31, 2011 Mission Update;

Movie # 29, January 24, 2011 – Old Road TataTown
Monday night, a good evening, no problems other than the. spare generator stopped running. We found later there was water in the gasoline. 1500 plus people came to see the movie, 98 New Salvations, 35 Re-dedications, 71 little girls and 94 little boys came forward to give their lives to Jesus. Thank You Father for all these Salvations. Amen.

Movie # 30, January 25, 2011 – Bassa Town, New Georgia Estates.
Tuesday, tonight was about the same as last night, 1500 plus people came to see movie, 112 New Salvations, 39 Re-dedications, 98 little girls and 99 little boys came forward. It’s now 1:45 am, names have been written, and I’m going to bed now. Thank You Father, Amen.

Movie # 31, January 26, 2011 – Saye Town Community, Sinkor Monrovia.
Wednesday, movie started slow, small business people came late, just before the first altar call, high wind came quickly and blew our screen from top of vehicle, broke it in a few places so we all know our job tomorrow. The high wind and rain forced us to cancel the movie. This is bad and good, we will have 1000’s of people advertising for the movie tomorrow night. Normally under these conditions twice as many people come the second night. The ministry has been blessed, this is the first time this mission trip we have had wind and rain problems. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 31, January 27, 2011 – Saye Town Community, Sinkor, Monrovia.
Thursday night, we have experienced this many times before, always a better turn out the
Second night. 1500 plus people came to see the movie, we had 116 New Salvations, 36 Re-dedications, 96 little girls and 94 little boys who came forward and gave their lives to Jesus.  We thought we had retired the old 2005-06 movie screen, now it’s better than the new one.

Movie # 32, January28, 2011 – New Georgia Sign Board Community.
Friday Night, we drove 2 hours, approximately 20 miles within the city of Monrovia, the roads are terribly, one big pothole after the other. It turned out to be a good evening, the five pastors and ushers all in white shirts were very organized, surprising since they do not know the ministry program. Was a blessed evening, 1500 plus people came to see the movie, 108 New Salvations, 42 Rededications, 116 little girls and 123 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus.
Sunday, January 30, In order to show the movie Monday, tomorrow night on schedule, we are forced to work Saturday and Sunday to change the motor in one of the vehicles. For you that’s wondering, I did go across the to church from 11:30 to 1:30. We used one motor that I had rebuilt for a spare for the 2005-06 mission trip. This motor has been setting bolted to the floor of the first container ever sense, sitting so long it has massive rust deteration on the clutch and pressure plate. We were blessed to find a good used one in a small shop at Red Lite for $75.00. Here it doesn’t have to get rained on to rust, between the salt air, heat and humidity, it’s unreal what can happen. Its now 4:00 Sunday evening, the motor is installed, I pray it runs properly. It’s now 7:00 pm, Trooper runs fine. Thank You Jesus.

As I lay here in bed I hear the quire of the small church across the street, maybe 150 active members, singing at 5:00 to 7:00 nearly every morning, night after night, sometimes all night and all day singing, thanking and praising Jesus. Common sense tells me who really loves Jesus. Makes me wonder if the benchwarmers back in America really know Jesus or if they go to church to cure there guilt, or maybe it’s an old habit and ritchual. Or maybe they are listening to a make them feel good preacher, one that tells them what they want to hear and steps on no toes.
To me going to church is to go meet the most important person in the world. This is why I dress my best, try my best and that’s not good enough. Here in Africa the poor dress the best they have, spend hours pressing their shirts, pants and dresses with a charcoal pressing iron continually fanning it to keep the coals hot.
Nearly everyone I know back home, when they apply for a job or go meet someone important, most all, they clean up and dress there best, if they don’t have, they buy. They don’t wear worn out t-shirts and short pants and look like a slob. Its no wonder church’s don’t have Sunday night services; the people have drifted away from the serious importance of Jesus. To them He’s one of the boys. They don’t realize he has the power to set you free or the power to burn you in hell fire. I guarantee you one day their eyes will be opened, but then it will be too late. Serving and working for Jesus is not easy or cheap, sometimes you may have to sacrifice all and die a beggar. Even so our life span here on earth is only one blink of the eye compared to eternity, sacrificing for Jesus is a lot better than dieing and going to hell and burning forever. I love each one of you and don’t want to make you mad at me but if the shoe fits, wear it. It’s your soul that will burn in hell, not mine. It’s a shame church’s have to have potluck and BBQ dinners and all kinds of trickery to bring people to Jesus and to keep them in the faith.
What’s wrong with eagerly going to church, sincerely singing, praying, praising and worshiping God hour after hour, day after day, night after night, thanking Jesus continually for His grace and mercy? You say in moderation. How will we answer this question when we stand in judgment before God?
When I watch the churches here in Africa, how much pride and love for Jesus these poor people have, when they go into the House of God, they will sing and praise God for hours, nothing more important for them, time is forgotten. Only Jesus. Three or more times, every one leave their seats, row by row to give to the offering basket at the front of the church, no one is exempt, giving all they have knowing God will provide for tomorrow, Oh what love and faith they have in Jesus. America has drifted away from Jesus and don’t realize it. America is the country that needs evangelizing more so than Liberia.
When I’m in America, it’s hard for me to get 10 minutes of time from most church pastors, they might have to stay 10 to 30 minutes extra, this would alter their ritchual and their devotion to the devil. Some people don’t really care if souls are saved especially if it’s a black soul and if it interferes with their personal life. This is the reason why church membership is growing in some big churches where preachers are telling benchwarmers and sinner’s what they want to hear.

Movie # 33, January 31, 2011, Orange Grove Foot Ball Field. 50 miles from Monrovia.
Monday night, it seems most of the more populated area towns we have shown before and we do not show in the same area two times.  Tonight 1200 people plus came to see the movie, 116 New Salvations, -0- Re-dedications, 66 little girls and 69 little boys gave their lives to Jesus. Liberia is not like before, the people here have too much compared to five years ago just after the civil war when there was no other gods to hold on too, only Jesus. Looking at the percentages and number of Salvations so far, we will have to show the movie 115 times this mission trip to reach our 20,000 adult Salvation goal. The highest number of showings per mission trip was in 2007-08. We showed the movie 79 times and witnessed 19,170 adult Salvations.
Liberia is becoming more like America, too many other activities, they are beginning to put Jesus last. Even so presently Liberia is still many many times more Jesus centered than America. When the pilgrims first come to America, all they had was Jesus. Jesus and Godly principals came first, now look; the devil has slowly changed the Jesus system into a devil system with no right or wrong guidelines. If you get caught doing wrong, you are promoted and given a raise in salary and a higher position. I thank God my time remaining here on earth is short, everything I do is pointed toward going to my new home. I know I’m not perfect, unintentionally I sin daily, I thank God we can go and ask Him for His forgiveness. My heart hurts for those who don’t know Jesus, most especially  for those that do know Jesus and have to face all that’s coming, caught between in the crossfire of the devil.
Tonight Movie #34, February 1, 2011, we will continue as long as possible based on health, donations, vehicle and movie equipment stability. Lord Jesus I thank You, we thank You, we worship and praise You Almighty God.   Amen
A Special Thank you, all of you who have supported the ministry, for all of your prayers, your financial support, those who have trusted and believed in the ministry. If we really believe the Bible, read; Luke 6:38,
I’m sure this will make a lot of you upset at me, I’m sorry, Most of you know me well enough to know I call it the way I see it. If you want me to delete your name from my e-mail list, I will regretfully do so, please advise. Even so, regardless I will still love you all and I pray God will give you wisdom and bless you and your family.

Sunday evening February 6, after church, we loaded the three vehicles and two trailers. One trailer loaded with 120 gallons of gasoline and Clothing, one trailer loaded with all the movie equipment and generators. All three vehicles loaded with 2,500 New Testaments, 2,500 plastics of clothing, 2,800 girl and boy toys, 50 pack of underwear, 100 Old and New Testaments, 75 large teddy bears for pastors wives, Food stuffs for 12 days, we will go into Nimba and Grand Gedah Counties, approximately 300 miles one way close the Ivory Coast border where thousands of Ivory Coast refugees have escaped into Liberia, our plans is go stay gone 13 days, show 10 to 12 times. Please pray for the ministry and us.

Movie # 38, February 7, 2011—LPMC Community football field, Ganta, City Nimba
Monday, February 7, we intended to leave early today, however many different things changed our plans which caused us to leave late. We drove 11 hours to show in Ganta, didn’t get set up until 8:30pm. The ministry was blessed, over 2500 people came to see movie, and 153 New Salvations, 36 Re-dedications, 32 little girls and 42 little boys gave their lives to Jesus. Unfortunately the same vehicle is giving us problems,
Tuesday morning, February 8, we couldn’t leave this town as planed so rather than loosing one night, we will show here in this town in a completely different area again tonight. I have notified our chief of security who used to drive for the ministry and a
mechanic to come and bring our emergency vehicle, our extra vehicle and drive this sick one back to Monrovia. The two vehicles are the same so we can switch the roof racks because of the mounted speakers and light pole carrier built in. As I write the emergency driver and mechanic are on their way back to Monrovia.

Movie # 39, February 8, 2011—Foday Domba Parking, Ganta City, Nimba County.
Tuesday turned out to be another very good evening, 2000 plus people came to see movie, 121 New Salvations, 14 Re-dedications, 71 little girls and 92 little boys gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Almighty God.

Wednesday, The driver and mechanic arrived back to Monrovia late Wednesday night; they blew out one tire and had a lot of engine problems, Thankfully their back home.
The inviting pastor furnished us a real bed, the best jungle town bed we have sleep in since the ministry started six years ago.

Movie # 41, February 10, 2011—Kpaytuo Town, Nimba County
Thursday night, 1:00 am, not many names to be rewritten tonight, 90 New Salvations, 45 Re-dedications, 87 little girls and 116 little boys gave their lives to Jesus. Amen. If nothing prevents us from showing, we will show straight through the weekend, every night until we get back to Monrovia

Movie # 42, February 11, 2011--Don Bosco foot ball field. Tapata Town, Nimba County
Friday night, Tonight was a very strange evening, 1500 plus people came to see the movie, for this amount of people the new salvations was very low, only 39 New Salvations, 46 Re-dedications, 85 little girls and 83 little boys. Of the 180 locations we have shown the movie, this is the first time we have had pastor resistance. After checking into the background of the pastors, I find they were all Baptist, they believed once saved always saved regardless of the life you live, they do not believe in the altar call to re-dedicate your life to Jesus and many other crazy things, what I would call cult baptist.
I thank God 85 people believed. Thank You Jesus.  Amen.

Movie # 43, February 12, 2011—Toe Town, Grand Gedah County.
Saturday night, a real contrast compared to last night, 2500 plus people came to see the movie. 225 New Salvations, 17 Re-dedications, 139 little girls and 142 little boys, a real blessed evening. A real blessed evening. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.
Time is now 3:00 am and I am very tired. If nothing happens we will show 12 nights straight. We are approximately 350 miles back into the jungle. We are about to start our route back to Monrovia, six more nights to show as we go back home.

Movie # 44, February 13, 2011—Zwedru Town Ministerial football field.
Sunday night was another good evening, 2000 plus people came to see movie. 150 New Salvations, 32 Re-dedications, 59 little girls and 109 little boys gave their lives to Jesus.

Movie # 45, February 14, 2011—Duogee Town, Grand Gedah County.
Monday night, Valentines Day, Another blessed day, 2000 plus people came to see movie and 144 New Salvations, 45 Re-dedications, 61 little girls and 78 little boys.  Rain started at 5:00 pm. ended at 6:30 pm. then cleared off and turned out to be a blessed, excellent day. Thank You Father. Amen.

Movie # 46, February 15, 2011—Cassava Farm, Tapata, Nimba County.
Tuesday night, Tapata has been a very unusual town to show however we decided to show one more time across town, I pray it want be like Movie 42 on February 11, just as we believed, over 2000 people came to see the movie, I just new we would see 140 people come forward, too my surprise only 44 New Salvations, 30 Re-dedications, 97 little girls and 137 little boys came forward. This mission trip people have too much, they think they don’t need God like before. I’m realizing that the adults are staying home, this is the reason the children percentage wise is much more than before. However with the blessings of God and His leadership, we will continue as long as we are financially able. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen.

Movie # 47, February 16, 2011—Graye foot ball field, Nimba County.
Wednesday evening, a very good evening, 229 New Salvations, 33 Re-dedications, 102 little girls and 203 little boys, all repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Jesus.
Wednesday morning, I was awaken at 5:15 am, still very dark outside to the sweet sound of native voices singing and praising and thanking Jesus for all their blessings, a daily devotion. The bed I sleep in was furnished by one of the singers, a three inch warn out piece of foam rubber on the unleveled dirt floor covered with a clean bed sheet. When re-writing the names every night until 1:30 to 3:30am, as I pass through the house going outside to the toilet I see the whole family laying on the hard floor, no foam rubber. There they lay together in the corner of the room sound asleep, every time I see this, I realize how much they sacrifice and how much we take for granted. None of us would give up our personal beds and sleep on the floor, No pictures on the walls, no chairs, no tables; to find a table to write on and a chair or something to set on is a major issue each night. No kitchen, no refrigerator, no lights, no toilet or indoor bathroom, absolutely nothing according to what we are blessed with. To survive these women gets up at 4:00 every morning to make small biscuits to take to school each day to sell for four cents.  She is a teacher, when I see and hear, I lay crying seeing and knowing those who have so little are thanking and praising God for all His blessing, I am humbled. This evening late I saw her coming from the jungle with a load of firewood on her head to cook and bake for the family using a mud built oven.

Movie # 48, February 17, 2011—Loyee Town, Nimba County.
Thursday evening, 6:00 pm, we are setting up for tonight in another town, setting waiting for 7:00 pm. to start the movie, however tonight we probably want get started until 8-9:00pm. Most all the families in this area have a two to five acre farm, every rice seed is planted by hand one seed at a time. Most don’t get back from the farm until 8:00 pm, most all the mothers carry a load of fire wood on their head and a baby on their back home, The little children, the oldest carries a large tub on their heads consisting of all the cooking pots and dishes they own back to their home and take bath before coming to the movie. Our blessing for them is to show how much Jesus suffered for each them, that they will have forgiveness of their sins and the blessing of eternal life with Jesus. All their lives will be changed if they will believe and accept Jesus as their Savior.
Thursday evening started off very slow as expected, we started the movie at 9:00 pm.  1500 people plus came to see, 104 New Salvations, 51 Re-dedications, 87 little girls and 136 little boys came forward. Thank You Jesus, Amen.
Thursday night, 2:00 am, we have been gone from Monrovia 11 days now, tonight was Movie # 48 of this 2010-11 mission trip, in the last 11 days 1832 adults and 2254 little children give their lives to Jesus. We all wanted to continue to reach our goal of 2500 but we are forced to go back to Monrovia tomorrow morning early for many reasons, vehicle repairs, projector repairs, ran out of clothing and boy toys. We will be better prepared next time. We arrived back in Monrovia at 9:00 pm. Our total Salvations to this date are 7773 adults Salvations and 8478 little children. I thank The Almighty God for giving me this opportunity and blessing and using me for this purpose. Amen

Mission Trip 2010 - 2011: Update #9

February 27, 2011 Mission Update;

We are leaving for the interior Monday morning early for 14 days so I am trying hard to send this update before I leave. We are having to work twice as hard as before to accomplish what we have in the past and the cost here is much more than before. I purchased the gasoline today, here in Monrovia it’s $ 4.25 per gallon, the distant area we are going, the price will be $ 6.50 to 7.50 per gallon.
Today the 200-gallon cost us $ 950.00, we shouldn’t have to purchase much of the  higher price gasoline when we return.

Movie # 49, February 21, 2011—King Farm, Blacktounge Area
Monday night, we were scheduled again to go to Broad Street and show the movie, again we had to cancel. So we went to another area that was scheduled for the next, turned out to be good. 1000 plus people came to watch the movie, 94 New Salvations, 20 Re-dedications, 57 little girls and 81 little boys gave their lives to Jesus, Thank You Jesus.

Movie # 50, February 22, 2011—72nd Street Coal Field Area.
Tuesday night, a very disappointing evening, the lowest attendance ever 700 plus people came to watch the movie. 65 New Salvations, 7 Re-dedications, 53 little girls and 67 little boys gave their lives to Jesus.

Movie # 51, February 23, 2011—Omega Tower Community.
Wednesday night, tonight I couldn’t go any further, so I stayed in my room and sleep. Turned out to be a very good evening, I’m sorry I missed, maybe I should stay away more. 2000 plus people came to watch the movie, there was 168 New Salvations, 6 Re-dedications, 54 little girls and 55 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 52, February 24-2011--Gardnersville across from the Aluminum Factory
Thursday night, we were disappointed again tonight, I am going to have to get used to the low attendance, Liberia is becoming like America. People have their bellies full, plenty of entertainment and don’t have time for Jesus. They just don’t realize that one day they will all stand in judgment before God. Their excuses and other gods will destroy their plans to spend eternity with Jesus. Tonight 1200 plus people came, there was 90 New Salvations, 15 Re-dedications, 63 little girls and 53 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus, Thank You Jesus.

Movie # 53, February 25, 2011—Bensonville Community.
Friday night, tonight our turnout was the lowest; approximately 700 people came to see the movie, rained all around us, weather wise we were blessed. We witnessed 46 New Salvations, 8 Re-dedications, 30 little girls and 48 little boys come forward and give their lives to Jesus. I realize we were set up in an Islamic Community, however when I see many houses with lights on, powered by their personal generator, they could care less that we were showing a movie across the street, I just don’t understand. However when I look back to the three times I showed the same movie in Portales, Muleshoe and Friona, three different Saturdays afternoon, 2:00pm, inside seating, air conditioning, advertised in local news papers, leaflets handed out everywhere. Guess how many people came, only FOUR total came of all three set-ups. This was during the time God gave this vision in 2004-05, my question to God was, God what are You getting me into?  I really believe people here in Liberia; will gradually drift into the devils camp just like America. I want you all to know and understand that I will stand strong and will withstand all until the end of this 2010-11 mission trip, I know now it will be longer and harder, I still believe 1000’s of souls will be saved and God will prevail. Amen.
February 25, 2011, as of today, we have shown the movie 53 times this 2010-11 Mission Trip, our total Salvations are, 8,292 Adults and 9044 little children.
Saturday, February 26, we worked all day on vehicles and many other things getting ready to load vehicles Sunday evening. If all possible we will leave for the interior early Monday morning. I believe this will be a very productive trip. Our plans are to show twelve times in 12 different area’s before we return. This County and area we have never been too before. We are taking with us enough Bibles, clothing, toys, underwear, etc. for 2500 adult Salvations and 3000 children Salvations. I love you all, God bless you and your families.
I tried many different internet offices to send this to you Sunday and all were closed so I might have to wait until I get back from Grand Bassa County

Mission Trip 2010 - 2011: Update #10

March  7, 2011 Mission Update;

Movie # 54, February, 2011, Mission trip #2 into the interior, Buchanan Area, Grand Bassa County- Monrovia Parking Area, Buchanan City.
Monday evening, 4:00 pm. We are now in Buchanan approximately 100 miles from Monrovia. We are very close to the ocean so the 120% humidity, 90-degree temperature and no wind at all, for me it’s terrible. The good part is, we have never been to this area before, looks very encouraging. The vehicle with the loud speakers on top has gone to the first area to do publicity. The head pastor of the inviting pastors gave me his bedroom for a few days, the third real bed I have had back into the jungle, and there is even a table and chair. I just heard a blast of thunder and lightning, hopefully it will rain soon before we set up tonight otherwise we might have to cancel tonight. The loud blast of lightning killed a 14-year-old boy, burnt him instantly. The rain did not affect us setting up and showing the movie. 2500 plus people came to see, because of the threat of rain, we had the three altar calls together, normally we have our third altar call for backsliders to re-dedicate their lives toward the end of the movie. Tonight was great, 193 New Salvations, 16 Re-dedications, 49 little girls and 95 little boys gave their lives to Jesus. Immediately after we had packed up the rain began to fall, Amen, Thank You Jesus.

Movie # 55, March 1, 2011—
Tuesday morning, this Buchanan City covers eighteen miles or more so we will stay in this area to show many times. The publicity vehicle has gone to deliver the Bibles, clothing, toys etc. to last nights eight represented inviting church pastors then on to another area to make publicity for tonight. Some of the crew unloaded the movie equipment from the trailer to set in sun to dry and wipe off
Tuesday night, tonight was an unusual evening, 82% of new Salvations ages were from 13 to 21 years old, this is good because they will be the leaders here one day, however it was another good experience. 3000 plus people came to see movie,158 New Salvations, 15 Re-dedications, 86 little girls and 133 little boys gave their lives to Jesus. Another unusual thing, some of the Salvations would not let us write their names, after prayer they walked out of the roped area, reasons unknown.

Movie # 56, March 2, 2011- IGO Baptist School Mission, Buchanan Town.G.B.
Wednesday night, another good evening, the threat of rain continued, sprinkled rain all evening, however 2500 plus people continued to stand and watch the movie. 177 New Salvations, 23 Re-dedications, 107 little girls and 143 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Almighty God. Amen.

Movie # 57, March 3, 2011—New Testament Baptist Compound, Buchanan City.
Thursday night, a very good evening, the type evening like we used to have in 2005-06. 4500 plus people came to watch the movie, we had 387 New Salvations, 30 Re-dedications, 121 little girls and 180 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. A great, great evening, thank You Jesus.
It’s now 4:00 am, just finished rewriting the names, I handed out copy books to 30 ushers and 6 pastors tonight which wasn’t enough, we have to write as quick as possible because of rain and to expedite the program. During this process some rogue stuck his arm through the top part of the passenger window, opened the door and took my cell phone and all the copybooks that I keep in a plastic bag.  One of my crew called my number, the rogue answered and told us the copy books were behind the big building, the cell phone we can replace, the 417 names can never be replaced. It could have been a lot worse; we had two laptops computers in the back seat floor. That right rear door which is very hard to open served its purpose tonight. I thank The Almighty God. Amen.

Movie # 58, March 4, 2011--Sugar Cane Farm Community, Buchanan ,GBC
Friday night, another very good evening, God blessed us again tonight. We were set up in front of a Penacostle church, two to three blocks from the ocean, there was thundering and lighting all around us all evening, we only got a sprinkle. I was surprised tonight; more older people came forward than the two previous weeks, 47% compared to 18%, 21 year old and up. 144 New Salvations, 30 Re-dedications, 72 little girls and 108 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

Movie # 59. March 5, 2011—Dark Forest Field Community, Buchanan City
Saturday night, another good evening, the skies were clear, 1800 plus people came to see the movie. There were 155 New Salvations, 37 Re-dedications, 106 little girls and 141 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus.

Movie # 60, March 6, 2011, Oil Field Community, Buchanan City, GBC.
Sunday night, the time 1:30 am. Another perfect evening, no threat of rain all evening, 30 minutes after we packed up, the high winds and heavy rains came. Tonight 208 New Salvations, 34 Re-dedications, 87 little girls and 183 little boys came forward to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Thank You Jesus.  Amen.

Monday March 7, we have had 7 blessed days, Thank You Jesus. We have ran out of clothing and girl toys still lack at least 10 more locations to show in this area. We are now back in Monrovia parceling more cloths, “this means we go through the big plastic bags and put the clothes into  small Walmart bags, one to two pieces in each bag. Also we have to do more work on our vehicles and movie equipment.

More good news is, to this date we have witnessed 9,899 adults and 10,850 little girls and boys come forward, repeat the sinner’s prayer and give their lives to Jesus, All made possible by you, your prayers and support. We thank The Almighty God for these blessings, Amen.

There is something heavy on my heart tonight. There is this small lady, approximately 50 years old; she lives by herself with her four grandchildren. She presently works for our ministry house cleaning, washing clothes by hand, a very clean and hard worker for the standard rate of $ 2.00 per day when I am in Monrovia. A very humble greeter and usher and church cleaner in the little church across the street where we attend when possible. Jerry knows this lady very well; anyway when I arrived back to the compound today, she had been notified to come to work at noon. She never came or called, finally when I talked to her on the phone, she said I am sorry; she had been gone all day to try to find free food for her family. I had previously advanced her $ 40.00 to pay the two little girls 6 to 8 years old, school fees, it’s so heavy on my heart to do something and I am not financially able. As I write this with tears running down my face, I ask you to please pray for Garmin and her family. Thanks and God bless you all.

Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 65, March 15, 2011--- Lady Bassa Community
Tuesday evening, 1:30 pm. tonight should be a good evening. This town is on the ocean, the natives have there own small fishing boats carved from a tree from the forest, trees 3’ to 4’ wide 25’ to 35’ long. Nearly everyone here fishes and sells to live, a very poor village, 100’s of small huts with thatch roofs. When I see these people and how they live and how happy they are with nothing, I realize the so-called poor in America don’t have a clue how blessed they are. Here you work or starve because there is no government handouts what so ever. When I see the 100’s of 1000’s of black people here and compare to the blacks and whites in America, the so-called poor people, I see a 180-degree difference. These here truly love Jesus, appreciate any little thing given and love the white man; they have not been spoilt and destroyed by government politicians. Those buying votes with your money to stay in power to continue using their positions to steal, while doing so, completely destroying America and we stand by, say nothing, and do nothing. The Ten Commandments and the Bibles have been removed from all public places, the only right and wrong guidelines that were left. The only place left to get this guidance is in the churches.
You say to me, I go to church every Sunday, That’s good and a start but do you really know Jesus? And do you really obey his commandments? How much time do you spend worshiping, praising and thanking Jesus for your blessings? Do you set Godly examples before all people, I know and you know people that go to mega churches, listen to prosperity and make you feel good preachers who really don’t know Jesus, and don’t want to here the truth. Truly spending too much time with Jesus might interfere with their schedule, worldly desires and pleasures. The truth is, (that if they don’t change from their wicked ways, they will die and burn in hell for ever.) This is the truth, I believe when you and I stand in judgment before God, He will give us the same sincere attention we have given Him while we were living here on earth when He judges we people. All kinds of excuses, I’m to tired, I don’t feel good, or next time, come back tomorrow, I just don’t have the money today, all that church wants is my money, I have a big house, boat, motor home, you name it, idol payment is past due. It has been said and I believe it’s true; you can total a persons checkbook stubs and can see what kind of a so-called Christian he is and how much he really loves Jesus. By his fruits you shall know him. I know I fall short in all these areas, but God knows I continue to try and keep asking for His forgiveness daily.
Millions of people during the Old Testament times were killed and destroyed by God because of their wicked ways, worshiping and giving more attention to all kinds of idols. God is good and just but He is not stupid, if He can give you life,  He can take it away. He watches us every second and truly knows our hearts, we may fool man but we can’t fool God and one day when we are asked the question; WHY?, then it will be too late, really He is the only One that counts anyway. You may not like for me to be so strong in my beliefs, however if you are guilty or knows someone that is, someone has to step on toes and get the attention before its too late. You may turn your backs on me but what about God and His Commandments?  I love you all, if I didn’t, I would not waste my time writing this to you.
Movie # 65, March 15, 2011---Lady Bassa Community, Grand Bassa County
Tuesday night, I am both thankful and disappointed tonight, thankful because of the few Salvation but disappointed of the distance we drove and what I thought would happen didn’t. 1200 plus people came to see movie, 25 New Salvations, 23 Re-dedications, 60 little girls and 78 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Jesus, Amen. The more I study this ministry, I realize the better the area pastors are organized and prompt, the less are our Salvations, maybe it’s because they have worked hard toward winning souls for years prior to our coming.

Movie # 66, March 16, 2011---Compound 3, Grand Bassa County.
Wednesday night, tonight was the first time we have shown the movie in the same area location. Six years ago we showed on the same football field, the very same thing happened. In 2005, just before the third altar call for Re-dedications, high winds and rain come, it’s now 1:45 am and it’s still raining. 2500 plus came to the movie, 164 New Salvations, -0- Re-dedications, 114 little girls and 174 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus.

Movie # 67, March 17, 2011---Vavuto Camp, LAC Rubber Plantation
Thursday night, a very good evening, no wind or rain or equipment problems. Everything was great, 2000 plus people came to see the movie, 47 New Salvations, 90 Re-dedications, 93 little girls and 114 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus.

Movie # 68, March 18, 2011---Gordon, LAC Rubber Plantation.
Friday night. I realize now my employees have more faith than I, we arrived to set up at 5:30 pm, light rain continued to fall, my crew demanded we set up in the rain, I was soaking wet, by 7:00 pm the rain stopped and the clouds went away, ended up to be a dry beautiful day except for the excessive humidity. 1500 plus people came to see the movie, 142 New Salvations, 13 Re-dedications, 86 little girls and 68 little boys came forward. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

Movie # 69, March 19, 2011—Dirthole Camp, LAC Rubber Plantation.
Saturday night, another good evening, 1200 plus people came to see the movie, no wind, no rain and no equipment problems. Rubber trees every direction farther than you can see, this plantation is at least 20 miles by 40 miles in size, second to Firestone in size and production. Tonight we are set up at one the many camps. 1200 plus came to see the movie, 100 New Salvations, 27 Re-dedications, 47 little girls and 74 little boys came forward. Thank You Jesus.

Movie # 70, March 20, 2011---Big Four Camp, LAC Rubber Plantation.
Sunday night, by mistake we made publicity before we realized it was a low populated area, 500 plus people came to see the movie, the lowest number we have ever had in the 208 times we have shown the movie, 29 New Salvations, 29 Re-dedications, 27 little girls and 38 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Everyday we learn a new lesson. I thank You Jesus for these Salvations. Amen.  I keep looking at our goal of 20,000. Liberia is not like before, in 2005-06 the 16 years of civil war had just ended, over 600,000 people were killed, people were hungry and needed Jesus, now their bellies are full, small money in their pocket, times are much better and easier, becoming like America, Jesus isn’t as important as before. However I have faith we will reach our goal, we may have to show the movie 125 times compared to 79 last mission trip. This ministry has been blessed and every time I start to worry, more donations continue to come. I had estimated we would need $42,000.00 for expenses while here in Liberia after I arrived, our expenses has already reached this amount. The price of everything is double, gasoline today is $4.80 to $8.00 per gallon, The good part is, we have witnessed 11,078 adult Salvations and 12,369 little children with their arms towards the Heavens, repeat the sinner’s prayer and give their lives to Jesus. Father God, thank You for Your guidance and Your blessings, Amen.
We have had ten movie showings sense I gave you an update and plan staying in the interior for five to seven more days so if possible I will try to send. Please don’t forget me, I love you all and I pray God will bless you and your families.

Mission Trip 2010 - 2011: Update #12

April 1, 2011 Mission Update;

Movie # 71, March 21, 2011---Geo Town—Grand Bassa County.
Monday night, a very disappointing evening, 1200 plus people came to see movie. After the first altar call we realized most of the people belong to a secret devil society, even though we had 13 different small church pastors present. I find out some of these pastors
worship the devil also. Tonight was by far the worst night we have ever had. The satanic power in these people was very strong. After experiencing a 7-9% adult Salvations for 207 different nights, all of a sudden we see .08% come forward, this was very startling. I can understand now how burnt out and disappointed pastors in America can become. Day after day, night after night, they preach their heart out and nothing happens. I pray God will continue to bless all pastors and keep them strong in the faith. Tonight we had 7 New Salvations, 3 Re-dedications, 29 little girls and 71 little boys come forward and give there
lives to Jesus. The good part is, every person present got to see how much Jesus suffered for them on the cross which they will never forget. Please pray a special prayer for this devil worshiping area that they will realize only through Jesus they can have forgiveness of their sins and eternal life after death. More important please pray for all pastors who
preach Jesus as the only way to have forgiveness of sins and eternal life, in Jesus Name,
Amen.

Movie # 72, March 22, 2011--- Gleozon Town # Five, Grand Bassa County Tuesday night, we set up this time in the center of five small villages. Lightning at a distance all evening but no wind or rain. 1000 plus people came to see the movie, 25 New Salvations, 78 Re-dedications, 36 little girls and 58 little boys came forward and gave there lives to Jesus. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 73, March 23, 2011---Bodo Whea Town, Grand Bassa County.
Wednesday night, 4:00 pm, a very hot evening, nearly always when it’s excessively hot, there’s a good chance it will rain, we installed our canopy over the projector and equipment just in case, sure enough the rain began to fall. The good part is, when rains come early evening, it usually clears off by 8:00 pm. As prayed for, no rain clouds or wind, stars were shining. Tonight a large crowd, 2200 plus people came to see movie, we had 161 New Salvations, 35 Re-dedications, 104 little girls and124 little boys come forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 74, March 24, 2011—Four Houses Community, Grand Bassa County Thursday night, another good evening, people came from work late, we got started at 8:00 pm, 1200 plus people came to see movie, 106 New Salvations, 23 Re-dedications, 75 little girls and 92 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus.

Movie # 75, March 25, 2011---Christian Revival Community, Grand Bassa County.
Friday night, sprinkled some then went away. A good evening, 1200 people came to see the movie, 61 New Salvations, 15 Re-dedications, 94 little girls and 96 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus.
Saturday evening, 5:00 pm, we are back at home in the compound as I write this, sirens and horns in the background, Franklin Graham is staying at the big hotel down the road toward the ocean passed our compound. He is leaving the hotel heading toward the SKD Sports Complex, I understand from the advertisement, he is having a three-day crusade at the Sports Complex here in Monrovia.

It isn’t easy for me at this time; please pray for the ministry and me. Thank you so much. Do you remember I had written you about this lady that works for our ministry seriously struggling to feed her grand children and family? I want to take this time to tell you thank you so much for all your donations, I pray God will bless each one for your generous
sacrifice. I spent every cent to buy several hundred pounds of rice, palm oil, white oil, salt, sugar, paid one of the children’s school fees. I put all this in the back of one of the Troopers and ask one of our drivers to take her home when she got off work at 5:00pm, at this time my crew and I had already gone to show the movie. Garmia never knew anything about the love gifts until she started to get out of the Trooper, my driver said the whole family cried and cried. The following is the letter she writes to you:

Mr. Hays:
Thanks a million for such a great and wonderful help that you and your American brothers and sisters have given us.
You all are highly appreciated; my children and I cannot believe our eyes. It seems to be a dream to us. We continue to praise God for you all. From the moment I received these blessings from you all, I feel like I was dreaming, your people have given us a very large surprise package. You have planted on my tongue a very large testimony. My children and I  are over joyed for our “ DREAM FOOD “. We appreciate God for all of you who have joined hands to be a blessing unto my children and me. We pray asking God to multiply all you have spent on my kids and I. May God continue to give you all your hearts desires and cover you with his blanket of long life. You are loving, caring and concerned about others.
Thanks so much for your kindness, I thank God for the Holy Cross Movie Ministries.
Remain Blessed!  Garmia & Children

Until next time,  I love you all,
A brother in Jesus our Savior

Mission Trip 2010 - 2011: Update #13

April 9, 2011 Mission Update;

Dear Brothers and Sisters;

I pray this e-mail finds you and your family well and going strong.
I also know I would love to be there to enjoy some cooler weather. Thank you for all your encouraging e-mails. We have only approximately 40 more time to show, this is for sure the hardest job I have ever had. It was so hard for me to get up at 5:30 am on Monday morning to go to J B Taylor’s Bible study at home in Clovis which I didn’t, now I find many times I don’t get into bed until 6:00 am and up every night six to seven nights every week, the only thing that keeps me going is every hour I’m up late, I’m re-writing names of 100 New Salvations, I thank and praise the Almighty God for this opportunity, and I thank each of
you for making this mission possible, I love you all.

Monday night, as usual when it rains middle evening, the night is free. No rain, no wind, however one of the New Salvations stepped on one of the electrical cords during the altar call, which caused a short and blew out both the dvd players, we finished the evening with a laptop computer, ended to be another great day. 2700 plus people came, 172 New Salvations, 41 Re-dedications, 96 little girls and 119 little boys gave their lives to Jesus, Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 83, April 5, 2011---Harbel Camp # 1 & 2, Firestone Rubber Tree Plantation. Tuesday night, a blessed evening, we went back to where we showed 6 years ago, Firestone’s two largest camps combined. In 2005-06 over 8000 people came to see the movie, 660 total adults came forward and gave their lives to Jesus, our largest show ever. Tonight we had 7000 plus people come, none of the nine church pastors were living in this area six years ago, no one remember we had sit up at this same location before. Tonight there was 484 New Salvations, 156 Re-dedications, 178 little girls and 138 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus, Thank You Lord Jesus, Amen. We knew this would our largest show this mission trip so I increased the size of the altar call area twice the size, approximately 50’ x 100’, of 640 small people, all could not stand inside this area. I had 30 plus pastors and ushers and our ministry workers writing names tonight. I’m back at the room now, it’s 6:45 am just finished re-writing the names. Tuesday April 5, 2011 has been a long day.

Movie # 86, April 9, 2011—Doe Community FBF, Cemenco Area.
Saturday night, a very good evening, some projector problems, and we purchased two new more DVD players, however we managed to show. 2500 people came to watch the Movie, 171 New Salvations, 49 Re-dedications, 41 little girls and 52 little boys gave there lives to Jesus. Thank You Jesus.

It isn’t easy for me this time; we have shown the movie 85 times this mission trip. The number of Salvations this trip is 36% less per show compared to the last two mission trips with over two times the number of children coming forward. This means the adults are staying home and sending their children. The good thing is the children will be the future leaders of Liberia and when they see this movie showing how much Jesus suffered for them, they will never forget. Many of you don’t realize what all is involved just to show the movie one time. The following is a quick outline; this does not include 100s of daily obstacles we pass through, vehicle problems and repairs, movie equipment problems and repairs, wind and rain damages and many others that the devil slaps us with daily.

  1. We spend 12 to 24 months in the US traveling assembling used clothing, hauling and  packing into large plastic bags.
Going from church to church begging for donations.

Designing, printing brochures and letters at lowest cost price.

Shopping, purchasing, repairing and rebuilding vehicles, purchasing spare parts for all vehicles, new movie equipment and spare parts all at discount prices.

Locating, Purchasing quality 40’ ocean shipping container at lowest cost price.

  2. Arranging for transportation from where ever and back to seaport in Houston Tx. at the lowest price.
  3. Finding the lowest ocean shipping cost price on containers to West Africa.
  4. Clearing US Customs and paying all US port charges, at this point when the four containers have left the US; we have spent approximately $100,000.00.
  5. Soon after I fly to Liberia and wait for the containers to arrive in approximately 75 days.
  6. While waiting we paint and repair the compound according to my agreement, at the same time while waiting we start clearing the containers and the contents through 13 different government agencies, this is the tought one, the Ministry of Finance to reduce our supposedly duty free import duty amount.
  7. Arrange for four large trucks and a forklift to unload containers after container is empty, our lowest price on one truck for one day, approx. 20 miles across town was $800.00 US dollars to our compound plus $450.00 for the forklift.
  8. Unload containers one bag or box at a time while government inspector’s check every piece as we unload and pack into our existing containers setting in compound.
  9. Now our mission is about ready to start.
  10. We repack every piece of clothing and shoes into a small Wal-Mart plastic bag that Wal-mart has donated approximately 90,000 Wal-mart bags to the ministry. Now the small bags are counted and packed back into the large original plastic bag, taped and marked with the number of pieces inside.
  11. Tonight we show movie, next day according to the number of Salvations, adults and children, the small plastic bags, bibles and toys are counted and delivered to the inviting pastors and ushers of last night showing by our publicity driver, which will be distributed according to our written distribution instructions.
  12. After Bibles, clothing, toys, etc. have been issued to the inviting pastors and ushers, the driver who delivered them and one pastor drives to the next area location to make publicity for tonight. All these area locations have been and are set up daily with five to ten church pastors from that area by one of four pastors who work for the ministry part time organizing set up dates on per set up contract basis.
  13. Each night when we show movie, we travel one to twenty hours, not knowing whether we will see 10 or 417 adults, 26 or 450 children Salvations.
  14. All my drivers’ sleep in their vehicles every night for security of their load, even then we have had gasoline lines cut and all the gasoline stolen. The inviting pastors furnish a bed for my traveling pastor and I to sleep, we are blessed if we have a real bed with no mattress, most likely a two to three inch piece of foam rubber on a dirt floor, many times lumpy and sloping. This continues day after day, night after night, sometimes traveling all night at seven to ten miles per hour through the jungle, we get so tired we look for something to breakdown so we can rest.
  15. Today my feelings are, we will not sacrifice in Liberia next time, if there is a next time.
  16. If there is a next time we will go to a war torn country where people are suffering and dying, those who are really looking for a Savior, Looking at Liberia today reminds me of 9-11 in US, for a few weeks following, the churches were full, now look. Even though Liberia is a ten times more of a Christian Nation than the US, because of the increasing devil leadership, as time passes, people here will slowly drift away from Jesus.

Today April 9, 2011, what worries me is, all our money is spent, and we lack at least 40 more times to show before we are forced to stop because of the excessive rain every day. Money needed for sixty more days is approximately $22,000.00 Liberia’s average rainfall is 266” per year; this is almost 22 foot per year.  God has blessed this ministry so much this mission trip, we have not been rained out one time so far and every time
we are broke financially, donations continue to come, as I write this update, Jerry the secretary called me crying telling me she just picked up my mail, another check for the ministry had come for $3,700.00. Thank you all so much, my prayer is that God will continue to bless you all and your families. I have adjusted my thinking that we might not reach our goal of 20,000 adults Salvations, however we will continue to the end. Today we are at 13,812 adults and 15,091 little children 4-12 years old.  According to the previous averages, we could reach 18,000 if everything continues as planed. Please continue to pray for the ministry, for all the people who work for the ministry, for all the Salvations and especially for all of you who have made these mission trips possible. Thank you all for your love and your support.
We may never see our rewards here on this earth, most important; it’s for sure, the true thoughts of our hearts are written in our book of life. God knows and for those that really know and love Jesus and follow his commandments, It will be good.

Movie # 92, April 17,2011---Hiway Community Church area, Roberts Field Hwy. and Kendaje Road, Monrovia.Sunday night, a disappointing evening. Tonight we showed in our own area expecting a large turnout, I felt like Jesus must have felt when he went back to his hometown. However I thank God for all those that came especially those that came forward.  Their were 59 New Salvations, 21 Re-dedications, 31 little girls and 45 little boys. Thank You Jesus. Amen.

Movie # 93, April 19, 2011---Gbanga Iron Gate, behind Police Check point. Tuesday night, a good evening, we traveled 115 miles today, eight hours to make our first stop in this 15 day mission trip toward the Ivory Coast Border where there is over 50,000 Ivory Coast refugees inside border of Liberia.  Tonight over 1500 people came to see the movie, 116 New Salvations, 19 Re-dedications, 120 little girls and 150 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. This will be our last mission trip into the interior, by the time we get back to Monrovia we will spent over $3000.00 of which $1600.00 was spent for gasoline, this time we brought with us thirty - six gallon plastic containers, 180 gallons plus what we will have to purchase at six to eight dollars per gallon. This is very hard for me to adjust too, however we keep looking at the end picture, I believe we will see between 2000 to 3000 Salvations within the next 15 days. Father God we thank You and Praise You for all Your blessings. Amen.

Movie # 94, April 20, 2011—Methodist Compound FBF, Ganta. Nimba County. Wednesday night, a good evening, however not what I expected according to 6 years ago, tonight 1300 plus people came to watch the movie, 87 New Salvations, 16 Re-dedications, 37 little girls and 54 little boys came forward. Thank You Jesus.

Movie # 96, April 22, 2011---Tozoe School Field, Saclepea, Nimba County.
Friday Night, CANCELLED, a very hot day, when it’s very hot, there’s an 80% chance the wind and rain will come, sure enough by 6:00 the wind and rain came hard, everything was soaking wet including all of us within 45 minutes. We will spend tomorrow drying out and wiping the equipment getting ready for tomorrow night. We will show in the same location, as in the past the second try will be much better. Tonight was the forth time in 233 times I had to ride to the room in my underwear, even then the seats got wet.

Thank You Almighty God for this day, Amen.

Movie # 97, April 24, 2011---Refugee Camp, Saclepea, Nimba County.
Sunday night, tonight we went to one of the refugee camps, these refugees came across the border from Ivory Coast, running from the civil war, reason the old president lost the November election and refuses to step down and the citizens are trying to remove him.
We expected a lot better evening, most all were Muslims that came to see the movie. 800 plus people came, 12 New Salvations, 33 Re-dedications, 75 little girls and 60 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus.

Movie # 98, April 25, 2011—Catholic Compound, Bahn, Nimba County.
Monday night, we had planed to go to another refugee camp but were unable to get clearance from the United Nation Commanders. One of the reasons was there is many more Muslims in the camp that resisted the idea of a Christian movie to be shown. However we set as close to the camp as possible and still be in the town of Bahn, should be a very good evening anyway.
The time is 1:30 am, we had a great evening, many of the French-speaking refugees came, 70% of the names I wrote tonight were French. 3000 plus people came to see the movie, their were 234 New Salvations, 68 Re-dedications, 112 little girls and 190 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Jesus. Amen
Tomorrow we start back toward Monrovia, approximately 180 miles, six to eight more shows and we will be back home.

Tuesday night, CANCELED, we prayed the weather would clear up and the lightning continued to get worse. However we set up anyway, lighting every direction, we tried and got rained out. Tomorrow we will try again, I can see now the rainy season is about to start one month early this year. As I write this, two hours after we got back to our room, the rain is still falling.

Movie # 99, April 27, 2011—Salver Compound, downtown Saclepea,

Movie # 100, April 28, 2011—Airfield Community, Zone 3, Saclepea, Nimba County. Thursday night, a very good evening, 3000 plus people came to see the movie, so did the rain, however we were able to have three altar calls before the rain came down, this night makes four nights in a row that it has rained all night, we were soaked again. There were 221 New Salvations, 29 Re-dedications, 65 little girls and 101 little boys that came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 101, April 29, 2011—Gbanqui Town, Nimba County.
Friday night, another good evening, no wind, no rain, 127 New Salvations, 61 Re-dedications, 91 little girls and 101 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus.
Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Movie # 102, April 30, 2011--
Sunday night CANCELLED, early this morning as my driver was coming to pick me up to go to church, a large truck who was driving too fast with no brakes hit our instrument trailer in the rear. The heavy impact bent the rear trailer door, bent the Trooper bumper and bent the trailer tongue to the ground. To make a long story short we had to cancel all shows as planed to show while driving back toward Monrovia. Instead we will start the 180 miles, 20 hour plus trip back to Monrovia as soon as possible. Not being able to open the rear door, we pray the instruments inside the trailer are not damaged. The devil might as well give up and leave us alone because we will meet our goal. I pray we can continue our showing Monday night in the Monrovia area. To date, this mission trip, we have shown 101 times and witnessed 17,937 adults and 19,734 little children Salvations. I am trying to write this in the back seat as we are traveling, the road is very very bad. We have run out of money again, I am not worrying because I know God will provide. Father we praise you and thank You for all you have done and all Your going to do. Amen.

This short story I feel will move you. J.J one of my old employees 31 years ago, a fine honest young man back then, one who I trusted and recommended for a job as a mechanic four months ago to a big bus company owner across the street from our compound. In four months J.J. has become head mechanic, as J.J. was going home on April 13, he saw us setting up to show the movie, he came to me and wanted me to loan him money to go home. I said OK but after you stay and watch the movie tonight, he agreed, yesterday J.J. came by my office and bedroom, he says to me, Mr. Hays I can’t get this man Jesus off my mind, I’ve been thinking all week I want to give my life to Jesus, He suffered too much for me, This Mohammad has mislead me and has sacrificed nothing, I didn’t know. My family thanks there is something wrong with me, I must bring them to see this movie. This is only one person of 100’s of thousands of Muslims who have seen this movie. I thank the Almighty God for this opportunity; I pray the last part of this story is better than the first.
Amen.

Some reading this are just like I once was, a so-called Christian, a bench warmer. I remember when I would go to church just to please my beautiful wife Sherra, I would be-grudge it when she would give $ 5.00 to Jesus in the offering, this foolish expense we didn’t need. I continually thank God that He spared my life until I woke up. 69 years I worshipped the almighty dollar, I was really a disgrace to myself, my wife, my family, my friends if I had any, my church and sadly most important my Jesus. I thank God as much as it hurts me, that my ex-wife who I loved so much divorced me after 50 years of marriage. This terrible hurt woke me up to what’s really important and it’s not money. I’m excited and happy to know that one day when I stand in judgment before Jesus, the judge of the world and my book of life is opened, then my true heart is revealed and I will see where all the bad in my life has been erased, all that’s seen is good and I will hear those words we all want to hear, regrettably only a few will hear these words. I write this because I love you, many are guilty or know someone that is, someone we pray for every day that one-day soon they will wake up and realize what’s really important in this life,”the breath of life and Gods  forgiveness”. This life is short, only a blink of the eye compared to our next life for eternity, we will be either in Heaven with Jesus or in hell with the devil. I pray the words we all hear that last day is “ Good and well done my good and faithful servant” Amen.
I pray God will bless each of you, your families and your Church.

A brother in Jesus our Savior

Thank you   Lord Jesus, Amen.  By the time you read this, I will have come home sooner than planed. Movie # 117, May 20, 2011—Lower Johnsonville Community, Monrovia.
Friday night, we drove for one hour to set up this evening, the raining was falling as we left the compound. We are now set up watching the rain clouds pass, I pray God will perform another miracle tonight that rain and wind will stay away for 4 hours, I know one thing for sure, I am completely exhausted. I thank God we have only 8 more times to show after tonight, 15 more days if we don’t get rained. I will have been here 250 days of which 75 of these days, we were waiting for the containers to arrive Liberia. This leaves 175 days in which we have shown the movie 125 times.

Monday night, this evening was a good evening, 1500 plus people to watch the movie, we had 149 New Salvations, 38 Re-dedications, 96 little girls and 136 little boys came forward. Tonight, May 23, is our last time to show this mission trip for many reasons; we didn’t reach our goal but came close. I thank The Almighty God for bringing us this far; I just
can’t go any further, Thank You Jesus, Amen.

Tuesday morning, May 24, 2011. We held a meeting this morning with all the crew, we  agreed I could not go any further, however the crew wanted to finish the race to 125 shows planned, so I agreed. As I write this, the crew is across town in Monrovia showing # 119. I pray everything goes well with them. I realized this mission trip will be our last here in Liberia and I know now I have pushed myself past the limit. Sometimes I get upset with my crew, they do their best. They love Jesus and are willing to work day and night to save souls and try to meet our goals. The ministry could have never gone this far without their total devotion to the ministry. The small salary, $60.00 per month plus one rice meal per day, some still manage to save all their money until the complete mission is over because they realize this could be their last job opportunity. Approximately $2,000.00 now due on labor which I don’t have.

Movie # 119, May 24, 2011—Pease Island, Gardnersville, Monrovia
Tuesday night, another good evening, no wind, no rain, no problems. 119 New Salvations, 34 Re-dedications, 95 little girls and 131 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Ten minutes after the crew got back to compound, rain began to fall.

Wednesday night, again tonight I was unable to go, no wind, no rain and no problems. There were 144 New Salvations, 25 Re-dedications, 72 little girls and 73 little boys came forward and gave their lives to Jesus. Amen

Movie # 121, May 26, 2011—Thursday night---CANCELLED
Movie # 121, May 27, 2011—Tinkers Village Old Road, Monrovia.
Friday night, a very poor location, threat of rain all evening, as we were making our first altar call, half way into the movie the heavy rain came, the majority of the 1000 plus people ran for cover.  As the rain continued to fall 57 New Salvations came forward repeated the sinner’s prayer and gave their lives to Jesus. We all were soaked by the time the New Salvation names were written by the ushers.  Of all the 522 New Salvation and Re-dedication altar calls, I feel this one was the most sincere. Thank You Almighty God, Amen.

God has blessed this mission trip beyond what we understand. Our final Salvations this mission trip are 20,586 adults and 23,252 children 4 to 12 years old. I personally want to thank each of you for being a part of our reason for coming to Liberia. Without Gods Blessings, your prayers,
trust and support, none of these accomplishments would have happen, again I say thank you.
